Security Services

Securatex is dedicated to providing all clients with a professional security staff. Our commitment to service excellence is based on the strengths of our screening and selection process, our “Right Fit” approach, training requirements and support programs. Our standards meet or exceed all State mandated requirements.

We assure our clients a higher caliber security officer by using a unique selection process. In addition to the customary reference checks, Securatex utilizes a written pre-employment test specifically designed to screen for such desirable traits as honesty, dependability, drug and alcohol abuse resistance, safety attitude and attitude toward supervision. Upon successful completion, each applicant must then pass a drug screen and background check including fingerprint and criminal record checks. We then assess each applicant on the basis of a “Right Fit” approach to each individual client. A profile for each client has been established, which outlines the traits that make for a successful fit into the client’s security program. Officers who fit that profile are then assigned to the site.

Our quest for service excellence is continuous, as evidenced by our 24-hour supervision, dispatch, inspection and support network established to monitor performance.

Securatex can provide, on request, mobile patrol units operated by uniformed security patrol officers. Our mobile patrol units can provide continuous community patrols as well as spot checks, depending on the need and wishes of the client.

Community Patrols

Our mobile patrol units are contracted by specific clients to patrol their community. This service is ideal for gated communities, apartment complexes, subdivisions and mobile home communities. Depending on the needs of the client community, our patrol services may include preventive patrols — regularly scheduled routine patrols as well as response to complaints such as disturbances, loitering, suspicious persons, noise, etc.; and vehicle violations — traffic, cruising, parking, etc.

Spot Checks

Spot checks are conducted on commercial, residential and industrial properties. For spot checks the patrol officer may enter a client’s property and patrol designated areas, or may patrol the perimeter of the property checking doors, windows, etc. Special duties, such as checking vehicles in yards, loading docks, etc., may also be performed on request. Spot checks of commercial and industrial clients are generally performed evenings, nights and weekends, and at other times when requested. Residential spot checks are generally conducted when the client is out-of-town but can be conducted at any time depending on the needs.

Securatex can lessen the potential for violence at a company.

Securatex develops contingency plan for clients in the event of a work stoppage. Even if there is a remote chance of such an occurrence, it is wise to be prepared in advance. Through discussion, planning and preparation, we can lessen the potential for violence and disruption. Prior to and during labor-management disputes, we can provide officers as a deterrent to potential violence. Our security officers detect, observe, and report unauthorized activity, intrusion, theft, vandalism, fire or trespass on private property, and protect persons authorized to be on the premises. Securatex will assign a strike coordinator as liaison between a client’s business and law enforcement authorities. We will also provide detailed incident reports and videotape of illegal activity. This film and documentation can be used only for supporting criminal charges, obtaining injunctive relief, and defending against unfair labor practice complaints. Our main objective is safety and the reduction of our client’s exposure to risk and liability, while providing cost effective service.

Our experience in developing, establishing and administering Fire Watch programs makes us uniquely qualified to provide such services for any facility. During construction or when Interim Life Safety measures (ILSM) must be in place, we can provide trained officers who conduct surveillance inspections of our client’s facility or of specific areas on a regular basis. Our officers are not only trained in safety surveillance but also in response to fire emergencies. Our reporting systems include written and verbal reports as well as PC based automated guard tour systems tailored to provide reporting on fire hazards and violations to guarantee each client’s reporting and surveillance needs are met.

Pilferage and internal theft cost businesses billions of dollars each year. Sexual harassment claims, drug and alcohol abuse, embezzlement, bribery, sabotage, and conflicts of interest are issues that impact the work place… as well as the bottom line.

Undercover operatives can confidentially report these issues, as well as other unacceptable behaviors that impede productivity. These investigations are preceded by consultations with management to define the problem, followed by selection of the right person with the background and skills necessary to become a full-time employee of the company. All operatives must undergo comprehensive training before assignment, and are supervised by law-enforcement experienced personnel.

Detailed and timely reports enable each client to make well informed decisions, and consultants are available to refine current security program to reduce future abuse.
